EXCLUSIVE: His Royal Highness, Prince Edward, is making a visit to the Isle of Wight today (Tuesday).
The Earl of Wessex landed in a helicopter in Freshwater today.
The helicopter can be seen in the field next to West Wight Sports and Community Centre.
A spokesperson for the community centre said:
"We were aware we would have a visitor today, but weren't told who until the Earl of Wessex arrived.
"Prince Edward was interested in the work of our help hub, as well as the operation of the sports centre."

The visit comes a month after the sports facility received a letter of congratulations for its community efforts during the pandemic, as previously reported.
Isle of Wight Radio understands Prince Edward is being accompanied by High Sheriff, Susie Sheldon.
